Paint

What is this interface used for?

The Paint interface is used to assess the human and ecotoxicological impacts of chemicals in interior paints. There are 19 default products currently, including water-based Emulsion paint and solvent-based Enamel paint using various organic solvents. The human exposure pathways mainly include inhalation and dermal contact by the painter, and inhalation and dermal gaseous uptake by the building occupants. For the ecosystem, exposure occurs mainly through paints that are disposed to landfill along with the painted material, whose chemical components volatilize to air and leach into the freshwater.
